Amideast and the Rozana Association have succeeded in designing a volunteer empowerment training program to better prepare young men and women that are eager to contribute their time and efforts in doing errands they are about to be part of.
The program is mainly divided into two parts, the first deals with life skills and is offered by the Amideast and second covers specialized hands on event skills and is offered by the Rozana Association.
The program came about upon a generous contribution from the United States Consulate in Jerusalem and was initiated as a result of the consulate's successful participation in last years Heritage Week. The need to provide the volunteers with skills, knowledge and empowerment is a reciprocal resonsibility in order for them to feel that there is a lot to gain when they are able to contribute their time and efforts.
